Caterer must furnish Charleston's Tidewater Wedding Chapel with proof of liability insurance, proof of host liquor liability and proof of workers compensation insurance for all staff working the event. We must have these one month prior to the event. No exceptions.

Caterer must obligate to leave the carriage house in pristine condition, haul off all trash (nothing in our dumpster), and generally leave the premises in as-found condition. We will furnish a checklist. If our housekeeping staff has to clean up after your event, or the police or fire department is called to the wedding for other than a medical emergency, additional charges may be levied.

Charleston's Tidewater Wedding Chapel and Carriage House furnishes a catering kitchen. There is no cooking to be done on premise.

Caterer must bring ice or make arrangements to purchase ice from our icemakers.

On packaged Charleston weddings, you may substitute your own officiant, but it will not change the package price, as we have to staff the event regardless.

Figure alcoholic beverages (open bar) at $4.50 per person for the first three hours of the reception, then $3.50 per person for each additional hour until closing. Includes all sales taxes and labor, glassware, bar-naps, garnish, swizzles.

Our pricing includes South Carolina state sales tax. Tips and gratuities to wait staff, bartenders and officiants are optional.

Tips to bartenders are optional or the host may request "No Tip Jar" and settle the gratuity for the bartenders separately.
